Scottie´s Bio
Scottie Dundee is the stage name of Eric Gudmunsen, originally from Dundee in Scotland, although he claims to be half Irish through a friend of his father´s.

As well as being a talented comedian, Scottie is also a highly accomplished singer-songwriter - click here to go to his Music Page to listen to a selection of his tunes.
Like many comedians, Scottie began his career as a singer/musician specialising in Irish ballads and contemporary folk classics.
Whilst working in Tenerife from 1996-9, Scottie became aware of the importance of communication with his audience. This started out as banter which evolved into one-liners, then the odd joke which eventually graduated into a full three hour show.
In 2000, Scottie relocated to Killarney, Co Kerry in Ireland where he began a three year residency in the famous Gleneagle Hotel. Here he worked with The Wolfe Tones, The Fureys, The Saw Doctors, Shane MacGowan and the legendary Joe Dolan.
During this time, Scottie´s show was becoming less musical and more comical in content. Audiences became integral to the show and Scottie discovered that the more he good naturedly insulted people the more they laughed.
In September 2003, Scottie returned to the Canary Islands, this time Lanzarote. The plan was to stay for four months then return to Ireland to try for the big time. But a funny thing happened on the way to the Late Late Show!!
Scottie found that the holiday atmosphere in Lanzarote allowed him to really let rip with his comedy, employing more rude language and developing much more adult material. You will find a couple of hilarious clips from his show on his Video page, and more on Scottie´s YouTube Channel.
On 1st December 2003 Scottie fulfilled a lifetime ambition that he didn’t know he’d had when he opened his own comedy venue in Puerto del Carmen . Fast forward 5 years and Scottie has sold the comedy club and now works between Lanzarote and Ireland.
Scottie has built up a large Irish fan base (just go and read the Reviews!) and returns regularly to the old country for one-off shows, mini tours and television appearances.
